Just had some really useful replies, and also request from
someone else to circ any results, so see below (you've already
          seen Andrew's message).

As a small contribution, there are a couple of databases I know
in comp med which I dont think are on the lists:
1)The NCCAM Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Citation
          Index (CCI) http://nccam.nih.gov/nccam/databases.html
          2)HerbMed http://www.amfoundation.org/herbmed.htm

For a longer list (but includes free and paying) see
          http://www.pitt.edu/~cbw/database.html

This mailing list is amazing- can get top quality information in
          minutes! Thanks.

substantially on the previous work of Andrew Booth of ScHARR in compiling
it. These sources all include at least some published journal literature.
