Optology technical support is aware of the problem has been working with
the RCP towards a solution.
The connection problems experienced appear to be related to the concurrent
user licence for subscribed databases and the Internet Service Providers
used by the college. It appears that when the college user disconnects
from their ISP, the ISP is maintaining an open connection to the Optology
servers, preventing subsequent accesses.
If anyone else is experiencing problems with the Optology server
(http://www.optonet.net) and has not yet reported them, please contact me
directly.
