After 10 years of faithful service our OCE book copier died yesterday.
This was a specialised photocopier for large bound books, allowing
volumes to lie over the edge rather than be squashed flat. Our OCE
engineer says that it was the last model (pre 1983) in the country and
he does not know of any other suppliers of this type of copier.
I find it hard to believe that with so many libraries around,
photocopying bound books, there is no-one that could supply this type of
model anymore.
Is anyone out there still using a book copier? If so could they possibly
give me details of their model and supplier so that I can try and locate
information for a replacement.
Many thanks,
Lynda
