Subject: Experimental e-group for live reference services
Apologies for cross-posting
This comes from a US DigRef mailing list, but I think the innovative uses put to the traditional mailing list interesting.
If you would like to try an experimental e-group for discussion of live
reference services on the web, please follow the instructions below.
An e-group is similar to an electronic mailing
list in that we can discuss things in that venue; however, we can also set
up a links page, have chats, you can view who else is signed up, take
polls on things, and many other services traditional lists do not have.
How to Join
. If you would like to subscribe the live reference e-group, go to
www.egroups.com. Sign up with your email and password as a new member.
Register. Accept the terms. Then go to
http://www.egroups.com/group/livereference and click subscribe. Thanks.
To post to the group, send the message to [log in to unmask]
