I really do not think that lis-link is the
appropriate platform for the continuing discussion about
Cuba's libraries.
From recent contributions it is quite obvious that
very contradictory information is being circulated on this
subject, and it is virtually impossible for us to ascertain
where the truth lies. Assertion and counter-assertion do
not get us very far.
This is principally a political discussion, and I
don't think lis-link is the place for people to air their
political beefs. That is not of course to say that this is
not a serious issue, just not an appropriate one.
