We are hoping to replace our Issue Desk this summer. The existing one is a
very attractive piece of furniture but staff find it very uncomfortable to
work at for any length of time, whether they are sitting or standing.
Does anyone consider that their desk to be an example of good functional
design? Does it suit the requirements of staff and users of varying
heights, builds and needs? Did you have your desk specially designed and
built or did you use standard units from specialist library furniture
suppliers?
Any information or comments would be gratefully received.
