THE LIBRARY ASSOCIATION AND WORKPLACE LIBRARIES
Lyndsay Rees-Jones is a Professional Adviser, Special Libraries and
Information Services, with the Library Association.
Lyndsay was heavily involved with the Workplace Libraries campaign which ran
last year, aimed at raising awareness of the contribution of workplace
librarians to their organisations. The Workplace Libraries campaign is now
over, but new directions have emerged based on the experience. Lyndsay will
be talking about the role of the Library Association in relation to special
libraries and information centres, and discussing the ways in which the LA
can support the workplace sector in the future.
This meeting is free, and light refreshments will be served afterwards.
