>From my understanding the BLDSC forms with "V" prefix are only for postal
requests to BLDSC when it's necessary to send an attachment, eg. thesis
request with thesis declaration or obscure item which needs a source of
reference attached. These forms mustn't be used to apply to other
libraries.
BLDSC are also selling forms for requests *between* libraries and will
credit the account of the lending library in the same way as the old
"C" copies worked. However, these forms do not have to be used. Refund
claims for emailed or letter requests (provided they show customer number
and amount to be credited) can be submitted for BL to act as
banker. These forms are only for interlibrary requests and mustn't be
used to request items from BLDSC.
It sounds as though some people are confusing the two types of forms - it
has to be said that all the changes can be quite difficult to take on
board! I expect we'll all get used to it in the end.
