I agree completely. Often the reader wants to know why the BL couldn't
trace the ref. It was useful to be able to tell the reader excatly
what the BL had done - it proved to the reader that there was indeed
something wrong with the ref. (which they are often loath to believe).
If we are no longer going to get the annotated forms back then
we need a fuller report.
