Hi everyone. There's a new novice on the network!
Rochdale currently provides database access via a locally held server.
Whilst the 10Gb line between our two hospitals is not a problem, now that we
are rolling out access to community and GP clinics, the 64Kb ISDN lines that
are used means that there is enough time to brew up between telling the
computer to open a database and the file being opened!
So, does anyone out there use MIRON? Has anyone had, or has in place,a
trial on MIRON?
I would be interested in your experiences, both good and bad, as I am
considering alternate ways of providing database access.
Many Thanks
Graham
