I agree entirely with these sentiments.
The inclusion of 'health' is handy for our ILL section who deal with other
subjects too.

Hi All
Apologies if this seems to be unduly negative.
1) NORWHSLA is not an acceptable name for the new group it implies a
takeover of MCHLG by the NORWHSLA group. If we are to work together as a
region we go into it together in a new form with a new name that does not
have any association with the past.
2) The nature of the name is relatively immaterial as outside of the library
community it will remain relatively obscure and the health professional
wouldn't care if we were called Fifi Trixibell as long as the service they
received was a quality service. To tie ourselves in knots over a name is a
waste of energy which should be focussed on establishing the new group,
defining the way it should operate and putting it into place.
Having said this on reflection Health should be part of the name and I
apologise that it wasn't included. LINN would not have been my choice
personally at heart I'm a REBIL or quite fancied some REvILS but lets just
add the H make it LIHNN and get on with something far more important.
