I may be wrong, but seem to recollect there being some e-mails on this (could have been on list-medical) back end of the year about changes Knight Ridder intended to make and quite a few people were disgruntled about it all. I think Tony McSean at the BMA might know more about it - have a recollection he was advocating people should cancel their subs - perhaps you could ring him to check it out?

Help! Is anyone else in this situation? I am being stung by Knight-Ridder
for £456. They have invoiced me for £100 administration charge and £356
upfront usage. Apparently I should have cancelled in October but I haven't
received anything from them before about the charging proposals. I spent
about £25 on it last year and my Standing Order with Knight Ridder covers
1/4/99 to 31/3/00 based on "pay as you go" principles.
