Do you mean graduates who are going on to do a postgraduate diploma
in LIS and who need a year's experience working in a library?
If so, I can recommend the scheme - we had 8 or 9 in the School of
Tropical Medicine where I worked before coming to Clatterbridge.
They were very keen, hardworking and grateful to have obtained such
a post as they can be a bit scarce. I think the training year was run on
SCONUL
guidelines.
