Dear Int-boundaries list members,
At the request of Martin Pratt I would like to introduce myself to the rest
of the group. I am a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Geomatics
at the University of Melbourne, Australia. I became interested in the
geodetic aspects of maritime boundary delimitation as a result of contract
work we have been undertaking on behalf of AUSLIG (Australian Surveying and
Land Information Group). AUSLIG is the federal government agency that has
primary responsibility for the computation and administration of
Australia's maritime boundaries. We have been engaged to develop software
for the automated delimitation of maritime zone boundaries and the legal
limit of the extended continental shelf in accordance with the relevant
provisions of UNCLOS.
I look forward to being part of the group.
Kind regards,
Phil Collier
