CALL FOR PAPERS

The I International Symposium on the Spanish harpsichord ³Diego Fernández² 
will be held from Thursday, 12th October to Friday, 13th October at 
Mojácar-Vera (Almería, Andalucía), in the programme of the I Festival 
Internacional de Música de Tecla Española (FIMTE).

The Symposium is divided in two sections:
Thursday 12th October: Spanish Harpsichords and their construction. 
Instruments related. (Chair: Beryl Kenyon).
Friday 13th October: Spanish harpsichord music: its performance an repertoire 
(Chair: Luisa Morales)

Proposals for 15-minute papers are welcome. Abstracts of papers must not
exceed 250 words and must be printed in a readable typeface (no smaller
than 10-point)  on size A4 paper. At the bottom of the abstract should
appear the author¹s name, institutional affiliation or city of residence,
and full return address, including e-mail address and fax number where
possible.

Official languages: English and Spanish
Deadline for abstracts: no later than 30 June 2000.

LEVANTE ALMERIENSE

12 y 13 de Octubre de 2000
El Symposium se divide en dos secciones:
Jueves 12 de Octubre: Claves españoles y su construcción. Instrumentos 
relacionados.(Chair: Beryl Kenyon)
Viernes 13 de Octubre: Música española para clave: interpretación y 
repertorio.(Chair: Luisa Morales).

El tiempo destinado para cada una de las comunicaciones será de 15
minutos.  Deberá enviarse a la organización del Symposium un resumen de la
misma (abstract) que no sobrepase 250 palabras. En la parte superior del
resumen debe aparecer el nombre del autor, afiliación institucional o
ciudad de residencia y la dirección completa, incluyendo dirección de
correo electrónico y número de fax, si las hubiere.

Las lenguas oficiales del Symposium serán castellano e inglés.
Fecha límite para las inscripciones y presentación de resúmenes: 30 de Junio de 
2000.
