4 BURSARIES STILL AVAILABLE FOR THE DHP CONFERENCE, KENT, SEPTEMBER!!
A number of full conference bursaries are still available for the Kent
conference and the deadline has been extended. Eligible candidates- those
without funding, should apply before 14th July, by e-mail. Since I also
require a recommendation and confirmation of eligibility from a supervisor,
it would assist me if candidates write their e-mail applications, forward
these to their supervisors and that the supervisor forward a single message
to me at [log in to unmask] Please state if a paper has been
accepted at the conference.

Division of Health Psychology conference
Kent, 6-9th September 2000-01-26
Deadline for oral papers, workshops and symposiums 6 March, posters, 31 May.
Bursaries available
The DHP will be awarding up to six conference bursaries. Each bursary will
cover the cost of registration (including conference dinner) and
accommodation. Applications should include a statement of why a bursary is
needed (for example, because a postgraduate student is not funded by a
research council providing support) and should be accompanied by a
supporting letter from a supervisor or referee. Applicants may wish to pass
their letter of application to their supervisor to forward to the
Committee. Preference will be given to applicants who have had a paper
accepted at the conference. It is a condition of acceptance of an award
that the awardee submit a brief report of some aspect of the conference to
Health Psychology Update.
