In reply to your concern over the UoA for your business education research,
I am in a similar position to you. I find that in the most recent RAE
assessment panel criteria, our particular disciplinary research output is
considered more favourably in UoA 68 which is Education. This point is
reinforced quite simply in its descriptors (on page 301 of the handbook)-
the area b. Cross Sectional Issues - highlights Assessment, curriculum,
teaching, pedagogy, learning and ICT in education as areas concerned with
research, and that is what I do!
For my own submission I have chosen to place it with UoA 68 for 2001. I
shall keep you appraised of developments.
