I posted a message posing some challenges about the use of measured magnetic
gradients a few days ago. I've had direct replies from four people, (govt
institution and universities), but none via the list.
The replies variously suggest use of measured magnetic gradients in:
1. identifying and eliminating cultural effects
2. wavelet processing (which required gradients)
3. archeological work
4. More fundamental uses suggested by some theoretical papers.
Looks like some fruit may come of this in due course.
Just thought you'd like to know. Any other contributions to the debate, either
via the list or direct?
Regards
Alan Reid
