TI: Title
Rutile and apatite; useful prospecting guides for porphyry copper deposits
AU: Author
Chris, I cannot lay my hands on that Sid Williams paper I mentioned
earlier, so here is the reference.
In and around the literature there are sveral mentions of rutile forming in
porphyry systems due to the break down of titanite. The alteration is not
all ways in place and some of the Ti may be transported in the ore forming
fluid.
