FWIW, for commercial work we've mostly been using Petrographic International [Saskatchewan]. Given their current pricing [http://www.thinsection.com/newprc.html], seems to me you may have difficulty justifying your charges. Regardless, of course, nothing is more efficient than a good in-house technician! Best of luck.
