We write to invite you to submit POSTER contributions to the Metamorphic
Process session of the 4-day Ron Vernon Symposium at the 15th Australian
Geological Convention to be held in Sydney in July 2000.
This is a busy time of the year world-wide, so we want to give you a
REMINDER of the MARCH 31 abstract and early bird registration deadlines.
Here are some important dates taken from the Convention web site [
http://www.science.uts.edu.au/agc/net/agchome.html ]:

for early bird registration fee
30 April, 2000

excursions
31 May, 2000
Last day for refund of registration (less $50 administration)
26 June-2 July, 2000

Here's the web address for abstract submission, but please NOTE, however
you submit an abstract it appears essential to let the organizers have a
camera ready HARD COPY by 31 March, so in reality you have 3 WEEKS or maybe
a little longer to submit your abstract:
Here's the address to register on line: [
https://secure.gsa.org.au/15thagc/ ].
There are two fieldtrips in conjunction with the Ron Vernon symposium - FP3
(Lachlan) and FA4 (Arunta).
