Can you tell me something about the history, prevalence, and
"ramifications" of this "mantra", as you call it? A few months ago
we had a question, on another big discussion group I am on, on the
origin of the expression "this, too, shall pass away" - and nobody
could come up with a "decisive" answer - though many literary
references were found.
