Just a short comment. In the karma theory there is no room for mercy or
forgiveness. Moreover it is only in the life of a human being can he atone
for most of his sins or the downward spiral begins again.
In the OT there is the concept of vengeance but also a strong thread of
mercy or forgiveness e.g. Abrahams bargaining for Sodom and the town of
Nineveh in the book of Jonah. That is the basic difference. Not justice- but
Mercy (which is something that is not deserved but given freely)
