If you send a message to this list asking to be removed or unsubscribed,
everyone can read it, but no one can do anything about it.
Most lists send a message when you subscribe, telling you how to get off. If
they don't send it, you can send a help request to the list OWNER, not
the list itself, to get a list of commands for future reference. I've got the
information copied below, but for those wanting to unsubscribe, this is what it
says to do:
From the email account which is subscribed and which you wish to unsub,
Send a message to: [log in to unmask]
Make the message say this: leave gender-religion
Don't use an automatic signature or put extra spaces anywhere. If you
don't know how to turn off your automatic signature, you have to put two
minus signs on the line below your message.
If you send a message to [log in to unmask], your message will
go to everyone on the list to be read, and it will not be processed as
something which needs execution.
------------------------------
The most generally used functions available via email are described below. In
all cases replace LISTNAME with the name of your list which need not be in
capitals. If you use a signature file or "footer" when you send email messages
you will need to stop JISCmail processing it. Therefore, on the line below the
command type two minus signs:
--
eg
