I don't know, I haven't heard of The Natural Step, can you provide more
information on it.
Regarding Human Well-being:
I don't know Patrick, do you really think you can get 5 or 6 billion
people to realize that their needs are no more important than a
catapillars? Call me a pessimist, but I doubt you'll have much success
there...especially in places like Smokey Mountain

You give those people a chance at a better life or the same life or an
even worse life and my guess is they are going to tell you to bugger off.
Even if it means accepting some environmental degredation.
