I would imagine that if Martin Luther King, Jr. and his followers went to
restaurants that were black only and then started trashing the place,
thier movement would have suffered more. Many people watching on
television would probably have thought, "Well heck what did they expect,
going in there and trashing the place...of course they should go to jail."
The actual message might have been lost.
Nice point Lisa. While there might be a time and place for violence,
using it in the worng place and at the wrong time just makes one a
criminal.
