You might think it is an international conspiracy theory meeting. (said in
some humor.) I have seen the initial numbers on the carbon sinks for the US.
*In my opinion think they are to high of a wager with the us numbers. But I
don't think it is an complete unreasonable idea. I'll see if I can dig up
some of it, for this chat. Sinks are a rather controversial proposal,
because they could mis-target the protocal.
I am pretty sure that is the European Concern, and why the reject.
Europeans want the US to actually reduce emmissions, and sinks
account for -- not reduce with the US numbers, but some middle
ground could really be taken on the isssue.
Also the original story for the GM trees and Car investors
was in the Washington Post a few months ago. June or July.
