The only 'beef' that I have with vegetarians is sometimes they charge too
much for the wonderful food they produce in restaurants in Kitsalino in
Vancouver. When I was a poor student I used to eat out at the Naam
Restaurant when I could afford it, and in the evening when it was not too
busy I would study there with a big pot of herb tea. I rode my 18 speed
touring bike everywhere in the rain (In November 1983 it rained every day).
The Naam was affordable compared to some other vegetarian buffets.
I still like to 'slip in a little beef' now and again. I bought a portable
barbecue to cook slim strips of beef out on the trail here in Rainbow trout
country.

PS. Do you know where I can find a copy of "The Saga of the Cowboy Bhuddas?"
Order of preference for 'slip in the beef' (please don't think this means
anything else but 'crazed for burger')...been out on the trail long time,
