Dear Listmembers,
I refer to an old posting, from a London based University, recruiting
research students for a project concerning leakage assessment with GPR. The
research was intended to evaluate the use GPR as an underground leakage
detector for pressure piping systems.
We, in Rio de Janeiro, are deeply concerned about the environmental damages
due to sewer pipe leaks. Our network consists of 20+ years old cast iron
pipes that are constantly bursting due to aging. We have already
experienced the versatily of GPR for geologic site investigation, but we
would like to hear about the results from the use of GPR for leakage
detection.
Best Regards,
