ECSCW 2001 - First Call for Student Volunteers

For the

     Seventh European Conference on Computer Supported Cooperative Work
                               (ECSCW 2001)
to be held in
                              Bonn, Germany
from
                         September 16th-20th, 2001,

we invite full-time students to participate as Student Volunteers.
Accepted applicants will receive free conference registration, optional
cheap accommodation, and an "End of Conference" party in exchange for
approximately 20 hours of work during the conference. All other expenses
have to be beared by the applicant.

The volunteers will support the conference organisation to ensure a
smooth running of the conference. Typical tasks include assisting to set
up the conference rooms, serving at the information desk, and
controlling the access to the conference rooms.

Interested students should be fluent in English. Any further languages
appreciated.
We attempt to reach a balanced proportion of gender.
A valid, dated student identification card or a letter from your
university or school must be presented when registering at the
conference.

The preliminary deadline for applications is March 31, 2001.
Further applications are accepted until June 30, 2001.

Historically, more students apply than can be accepted, so early
application is encouraged. However, waiting lists will be set up after
March 31, 2001, which offer a second chance to join the team.
