DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINOLOGY
TEMPORARY LECTURERS IN CRIMINOLOGY (2 POSTS)
Applications are invited for two temporary lectureships in this=20
dynamic and thriving Department with well-established undergraduate=20
and postgraduate programmes within an inter-disciplinary framework=20
and a record of distinction, achievement and excellence in its=20
research culture.
The lectureships will be for 13-months' duration from 1 January=20
2001. Funding for these posts is available as a result of staff=20
research leave. Appointments will be at point 6 of the Lecturer A=20
Scale (=A318,731 per annum).
Post 1 (Ref: AC00/31) - An ability to teach a first year module on=20
Crime and Industrial Society, 1750-1950, is essential along with a=20
capacity to contribute generally to the department's teaching and=20
research activities.
Post 2 (Ref: AC00/32) - An ability to provide teaching and research=20
within the range of the Department's core and specialist teaching=20
areas is required. Contribution to the MA Criminology Community=20
Safety pathway is highly desirable.
