Call for Papers
--------------
By June 2001 it is expected that unified modelling with
SDL-2000 and MSC-2000 will be in use, therefore the
10th SDL Forum is the meeting place for established and
potential users of the language, tool vendors and
ITU Study Group members maintaining the language, to
exchange ideas on the impact. The proceedings are widely
referenced, and the Forum is the basis of further improvements.
It is the nature of the Forum that it adapts to current trends.
Authors are therefore invited to submit papers for presentation
at the Forum and publication in the Proceedings within the
scope of the Forum on topics including (but are not limited to):
- Unified modelling, methodology and experiences in software engineering;
- Comparison and use with other languages (such as ASN.1, ODL, IDL etc.);
- Specification and measurement of time and performance;
- Limitations and further evolution of SDL-2000 and MSC-2000;
- Application to telecommunications: Voice over IP, mobile communication;
- Other real time applications: such as transport, robotics, aerospace;
- Verification and testing of distributed systems;
- Tools and tool support;
- Education and training.
Submissions should be written in English, be no longer than
16 pages (including the illustrations and bibliography),
12 point, Times New Roman, single spaced and should be
