The ESPRC is funding UCL to offer a Career Development School for post-doc.
contract researchers in engineering and the physical sciences.  This will
be in 2 stages: a 2-day residential workshop in central London from 9-10
March 2000, with a follow-up day - also in central London, some time in May
2000.

This Career Development School will be the first of 4 to be funded by EPSRC
and will be mainly for those from London and the South-East (although those
from other regions may apply if it is more convenient for them for any
reason ).  I will issue full details of the School to this mailbase list on
21 January, and the closing date for applications will be 16 February 2000.
