At post compulsory professional education level - our TAFE Colleges, Private
Providers etc - the rate is from $5 to $15 per paper depending on the size
of the papers. In a course where there are papers for almost every
competency element, they are $5, and where there are papers for groups of
elements, $15.
The base calculation is between $40 and $60 per hour. So essentially it is
based on an hourly rate at the mid to top teacher level, as these teachers
in f2f situations under the employment agreements do 20 hours direct f2f
teaching a week.
I base this on a Government college and a private college, as I do work for
both. I hope this at least gives you an idea of the principle involved.
