Call for partners

Atuline Ltd. is looking for partners for a European project developing
Virtual Hospital in Europe. The aim is to collect best in class service
providers from health care and IT sectors to build a European front-runner
in Internet-based health care.

Background

Atuline Virtual hospital is an implementation of the recommendations of the
TEAC-Health project, which was funded within the 4th Framework programme by
DG XIII. The TEAC-Health project studied the possibilities and needs to set
up certification and accreditation schemes for telematics services for
health. The Commission found the recommendations extremely useful and it
encouraged implementation of the recommendations in new projects with
larger budget. The Commission's evaluation report and deliverables of the
project can be found at www.multimedica.com/teac.
European Union has started the eEurope initiative, which focuses on many
key issues of the TEAC-Health project:
· quality of health information on the net
· reliability of service providers
· data security
One of the aim in eEurope is to identify best practices in the field of
eHealth and eCare. The project collected by Atuline Virtual hospital is
aiming at building a multilingual professional eCare service for European
citizens, which could be listed as one of the best practice examples in the
field.

Who should be Interested?

Hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and IT providers who want to develop
Internet based services for patients exploiting the potential of global
networks, mobile communications and European strong tradition in data
security and confidentiality issues.

What is Atuline?

Atuline Ltd. is a pioneer in applying of the Internet in the healthcare
field. Atuline Ltd. is the first registered European healthcare provider to

Virtual Hospital) functioning in compliance with all European Union
regulations on data security.
Atuline Virtual Hospital provides both consumers and medical professionals
with the timely and reliable advice of qualified medical specialists from
all specialties, who serve the users in all major European languages.
Atuline Local Network is designed to serve healthcare providers in the
creation of local patient-to-physician networks and assist them in quick
implementation of IT-technology and the Internet in the healthcare process.
Atuline Local Network is built on the basis of the technology that we have
created for and successfully tested in our Atuline Virtual
Hospital-service. The service package enables medical specialists of the

cost savings. Atuline Local Network provides means to improve medical
