The Sowerby Centre for Health Informatics is looking for a researcher to
work on the Durham Electronic Health Record (EHR) project. The post will
involve extensive qualitative research into the requirements of clinicians
and other health and social care professionals for using an EHR, including
the ethical and trust issues, and would suit someone with experience of
social research, and ideally experience of researching the impact of
information and communication technologies. The post is offered for 18
months in the first instance, starting as soon as possible.
The successful applicant would also have the opportunity to work on the
'Information in the Consulting Room' project, examining the effect of ICTs
on the GP-patient interaction.
If you know of anyone who may be interested, please pass this message on to
them, or let me know how to contact them.
Thanks
