Hello,
I just summarise the problem and its partial solution:
-with Workshop 5.0 (Solaris7) and -lf77compat:
crash during execution in a f77compat routine
-with Workshop 5.0 (Solaris7), without -lf77compat:
no crash, but false results
-with Workshop 6.0 (Solaris 8) and -lf77compat:
crash during execution in a f77compat routine
-with Workshop 6.0 (Solaris8), without -lf77compat:
no crash, good results
So there's a bug somewhere around f77compat. I can't say if it's a bug in our own code or in f77compat, because it would be very long to test this.
Fortunatly, it appears that for this example I don't need f77compat. However the results are as expected only when using Workshop 6 and Solaris 8 (that makes a partial solution, since we still have many machines under Solaris 7)
Many thanks to all of you who answered me,
Pierre
