Precisely. I rarely want to reply individually to the sender. I want
to hit reply and send a message to the list (and not an extra copy to
the sender). Now, I have to FORWARD the message to the list, either
cutting and pasting what is in the To: header, or typing in F90, which
is an alias (actually, in my case, a VMS logical name :-) ) and copying
the subject line (OK, some mail software will pop that in automatically,
but usually with a "(fwd)" attached, which is not what one wants.
Apparently the list software for THIS LIST can be set to set things up
the way we want. Does anyone DISagree with this desire?
