It seems backwards to me. The advantage of 'templates' (or
any kind of parametric polymorphism) should be to allow the
programmer to write procedures that accept as arguments all
types that have common algebraic properties. This proposal tries
to have algorithms applied to types which merely have common
internal components. This is not nearly as flexible as parametric
polymorphism should be, and is mostly redundant with the
OOP features being added in FMMV.
