I am trying to compile a list of films that have scenes involving the
prominant use of a 'music-box' image be-it visually or, (slightly off topic)
especially auditorially, as a device that strongly influences the mood of the
film. Obviously _The Talented Mr. R_ is already on the list, so I am looking
for older examples. Maurice Jarre sometimes used them in his scores, but in
those instances the music box doesn't function so much as a filmic image
(again either audio or visual) but just film-score orchestration.
TIA,
dD
