Dear all,

In February we asked for your details to develop and maintain an up-to-date
directory of research in the field of children and media. This directory
would act as a resource for fellow researchers, students and other
interested parties. It would also be a valuable sources of information for
journalists seeking an informed response to perenniel concerns about
children and media. This directory will be published on the web-site at the
Centre for Study of Children, Youth and Media at the Institute of Education.

We received a great number of contributions from active researchers in the
field, showing research around children and media covered many areas from
advertising, to news to uses of television, video, film and new media. To
make it a valuable resource a wider number of contributions are being sought
and we ask you to take a short amount of time to return your details for
inclusion. Essentially the information should be delivered under the
following headings:

-    Name and full contact address, telephone number
-    Email and web-site address
-    One line title of current or research completed in last two years
-    Summary of research - no more than 50 words
-    Up to 5 key words
-    List of recent publications.

All participants who have already returned their details need not do so
again.
