I'm working on the BBC's History of Britain series at the History and
Documentaries department in London. I'm particularly interested in
eighteenth and nineteenth century imperial history and at the moment am
working on a film about slavery.
We're hoping to film in the Caribbean later this year. I'm looking for a
location that can offer us authentic plantations and museums and artefacts
which are all within reach. We only have a week to film. At the moment
Barbados and Jamaica top the list but I'm looking for more expert opinion.
Should you have a moment I wonder whether you might have any suggestions or
advice to offer on the relative merits of the islands.
Very Best Wishes,
Ashley
