I paused for a good minute or so to wonder why Geraldine might be going
to
Ormskirk - being a Preston boy who visited Liverpool a lot I saw
Ormskirk bus
station as something of a landmark, giving the phrase 'when I get back
from
Ormskirk' a(n un)real resonance, an inverted echo of 'By the time I get
to
Pheonix' - so was kind of disappointed to discover it was to do with
poetry.
Give my love to the bus station, either or both of you! And have a good
evening, I'm sure it will be better than the telly.
best,
Mark
