Well here was British Poetry Since 1945, edited by Edward Lucie-Smith for
Penguin, 1st edition 1970 (2nd edition is much poorer). Includes Bunting,
Turnbull, Fisher, Raworth, Harwood, I H Finlay, Nuttall in amongst all the
usual mainstreamers plus Middleton, Tarn, Wevill, Guest, Gershon and other
interesting poets published (then) by more established houses. It's still
the only one to include poets from "both sides of the fence".
Can't think of any others.
