First I've read of it. It's only recently cyclones became boys, although
there seems little evidence in the human species that the female is more
deadly than the male. But of course the bug is part of the insect tribe,
and female spiders and praying mantis are certainly deadlier, though if
the bug was a dud its gendering shewise is perhaps cause for worry. I
thought it was males who were being emasculated by pollution (declining
sperm counts and hermaphrodite fish &c). It could just be venom envy.
