The next BMVA technical meeting on Augmented Reality is next Wednesday
at the BIR in London.
In my previous post I forgot to include email registration (see bottom
of this email).
We have also prepared a pdf brochure of the meeting which contains the
programme and abstracts available below. Registration details also
included below.

One Day BMVA Technical Meeting in association with the UKVRSIG and
IEE/E4 at British Institute of Radiology, London, UK on 3rd May 2000
Augmented reality is the process of augmenting the users view of a world
with synthetic models or information. This could be anything from the
written annotation of a scene to superimposed 3D graphical models. The
applications of Augmented Reality are in wearable computing, HCI,
medical, construction and visual media to name a few. The aim of this
meeting is to bring together a number of talks on the common problems
and solutions associated with these application areas.
Chairpersons:
Richard Bowden (Brunel
University)
Andrew Fitzgibon (Oxford
University)
