Papers are invited for the first International workshop
on Pattern Recognition techniques in Remote Sensing is
to be held in Andorra prior to ICPR 2000 in Barcelona.
The workshop is organised by the IAPR Technical Committee
for Remote Sensing (TC7), and it is sponsored by IAPR.
Andorra is a Principality on the top of the Pyrenees,
between Spain and France. It is about two hundred
kilometers from Barcelona and Toulouse.
It can be reached by air, train or bus directly from these
two International airports. The bus journey takes about
2.5 hours.

The papers will be published in the workshop proceedings,
and a selected number to a special issue of Pattern
Recognition Letters.
The workshop fee is 100 US dollars, including a copy of the
proceedings, lunch and coffee breaks.
Participants are expected to make their own travel and
accommodation arrangements.
