There is an incident in Ken Russell's film Billion Dollar Brain where
Michael Cain uses a shoe-shop foot X-ray machine to look at a sealed
thermos flask of biological-weapon-infected eggs. But Russell may well
have perpetrated an anachronism for dramatic effect.
