If this is such an important book, it is to be hoped that in the near
future it will become available in a cheaper package. Otherwise it would
be a great shame for the author who has invested so much time and
energy. The quoted price is approx. two weeks salary for those who, like
me, are working in universities outside the wealthy Western belt.
Perhaps we could start getting together and try to find ways of
disseminating our specialist field, rather than making pseudo-adverts on
the list for the benefit of its wealthier members.
Which is more important - that as many people as possible become
acquainted with what we hold so dear, or that a few people can boast
esoteric book collections?
