peace testimony

Organised by the Yorkshire Quaker Heritage Project, this is
the second in a series of conferences which will take place
during the course of the project. It is aimed at
researchers in the field of Quaker history, and the history
of pacifism and the peace movement, as well as local
Friends, local historians, and archivists/special
collections librarians.
The conference will focus on the history of the Quaker
peace testimony, the particular experience of Quakers in
Yorkshire in interpreting that testimony during the 20th
century, and the archival and printed sources available for
research in this area.
